Welcome to our family blog! This is our first post and we're so glad you took the time to check it out. Alexis plans on updating this page regularly to keep our friends and family posted on what's going on with our family. We hope this will especially be helpful for our loved ones living far away. So please feel free to bookmark this page and check back often.
UPDATE: We are all doing well and Ally has adjusted to being away from Mommy while she's at work. Ally's childcare provider, Lisa, is wonderful and has bonded very well with Ally- as have Lisa's 4 darling children. Ally is well taken care of and gets excited when we pull up to Lisa's house each morning. It's been a true blessing. Ally is also walking around so well that she moved up last Sunday to the "waddlers" group at church, ages 12-18 mo. They play and sit down at a table on these little tiny chairs to have a snack- it's so cute. Ally is such a social butterfly and loves being around other children. She also got her 7th tooth last week and is currently dealing with a cold, but handling it well.
Scott is training to run in a Half-Marathon! He's working very hard to get ready for the race on Nov. 15th. Ally and Alexis are very proud of his determination and dedication to this tough workout regime. Scott is also looking forward to celebrating his 29th birthday Oct. 9th!!
Alexis is having a great year at Hermitage. She's teaching sophmore's this year and enjoys the maturity of her students. She is co-sponsoring the Key Club this year and is also on a "Quality Council" committee at school.
Thanks again for reading and we hope to hear from you soon! Take care... check back again for more photos and posts.
